The Nigerian Army (NA) pleased to inform the general public especially those who applied for the Nigeria Army SSC 48 recruitment that was conducted between 5th August to 15th September, 2024 that the shortlisted names for selection board interview has been released.
Nigerian Army Selection Board Interview Date and Venue 2024
The Nigerian Army selection board interview has been scheduled to hold on 14 October 2024. The exercise will start between 8am – 11am. Therefore, candidates who arrive after 11 am on 14 October 2024 will be disqualified.
The Selection Board for Short Service Combatant Course 48/2025 will take place at the Nigerian Defence Academy, Old site, Kaduna State.
This Nigerian Army selection exercise will involve physical, medical and academic tests as well as an oral interview for all candidates.
How to Check Nigerian Army SSC Shortlisted Candidates 2024
All candidates who participated in the recruitment exercise are required to login to Nigerian Army SSC portal: https://recruitment.army.mil.ng/military-secretary and check their names on the list of shortlisted candidates.

Nigerian Army Selection Board Interview Requirements
- Writing materials including ruler and eraser
- Three (3) pairs of plain white short sleeve vests
- Three (3) pairs of navy blue shorts
- Canvas shoes/trainers and white socks
- Toiletries
- A set of cutlery including plates and drinking cups
- Beddings; to include, blankets, bedspreads and pillow cases etc
- Four (4) copies of full size coloured photographs at standing position in
suit.
Candidates will be required to produce original and duplicate copies of the following:
- All academic/professional certificates including testimonials, NYSC discharge or valid Exemption Certificate as applicable in a file jacket.
- Valid birth certificate as endorsed by the National Population Commission, hospital and Local Government Council of birth or valid age declaration.
- Valid certificate of state of origin
- Military Identity Card (military personnel only)
- Letter of recommendation by Commanding Officers/Commanders (military personnel only)
- Letter of sponsorship in tertiary academic institution (military personnel only)
- Printed Bank Verification Number (BVN) certificate authenticated by a bank as well as NIN enrolment slip
- Completed copies of print outs from the SSC portal including referee forms.
NOTE:
- Candidates are to note that any alteration on their documents will render such documents invalid.
- Candidates will be accommodated and fed throughout the duration of the Selection Board.
- Candidates will be responsible for their transportation to and from the Selection Board.
- The use of personal/private vehicles by candidates is strictly prohibited throughout the duration of the Selection Board.
- Visitors will not be allowed throughout the duration of the Selection Board.
- A high standard of discipline is expected from all candidates. Candidates who violate any instruction during the Selection Board will be disqualified.
- Due to the military nature of the Exercise, the Nigerian Army shall not be liable for any injuries/deaths recorded in the course of the Selection Board.
