We are pleased to inform the general public especially those who applied for the Nigeria Army SSC 48 recruitment that the shortlisted names for selection board interview has been released.
The Nigerian Army SSC shortlist is for those who made it in the online application. This is not the final list to be released by the Nigerian Army (NA).
Those whose name appears in the first list will undergo physical and credentials screening which will be conducted in the applicants state of origin.
Other stages of the recruitment process include computer based test (CBT) and Medical examination before the final list will be released for training exercise.
Now those successful at the training will receive their appointment paper as a full-time staff of Nigerian Army (NA).
How to Check Nigerian Army SSC Shortlisted Candidates
All the candidates who participated in the recruitment exercise are required to login to the Nigerian Army SSC recruitment portal and download the list of successful candidates in PDF file. Only those whose names appear there will proceed to the next phase.

The successful candidates for Short Service Commission Course 48/2024 Selection Board are to report at Headquarters 2 Division Nigerian Army, Ibadan, Oyo State on 11 March 2024.
Candidates are to report to the Selection Board venue on 11th March 2024 between 8am–11 am with the following items:
a. Writing materials including ruler and eraser.
b. Three (3) pairs of plain white short sleeve vests.
c. Three (3) pairs of navy blue shorts.
d. Canvas shoes/trainers and whitesocks.
e. Toiletries.
f. A set of cutlery including plates and drinking cups.
g. Beddings;to include, blankets, bedspreads and pillow cases etc.
h. Four (4) copies offull size coloured photographs at standing positionin suit.
The Selection Exercise will involve physical, medical and academic tests as well as an oral interview for all candidates.
Candidates will be required to produce original and duplicate copies ofthe following:
a. All academic/professional certificates including testimonials, NYSC discharge or valid Exemption Certificate as
applicable in a file jacket.
b. Certificate of ordination for candidates seeking Chaplain (Protestant/Roman Catholic).
c. Certificate of Call to Bar for candidates seeking Directorate of Legal Services.
d. Valid birth certificate as endorsed by the National Population Commission, hospital and Local Government Council of birth or valid age declaration.
e. Valid certificate of state of origin.
f. Military Identity Card (military personnel only).
g. Letter of recommendation by Commanding Officers/Commanders (military personnel only).
h. Letter of sponsorshipin tertiary academic institution(military personnel only).
i. Printed Bank Verification Number (BVN) certificate authenticated by a bank as well NIN enrolment slip.
j. Completed copies of print outs from the DSSC portal including referee forms.
Candidates are to note that any alteration on their documents will render such documents invalid.
Candidates will be fed and accommodated throughout the duration of the SelectionBoard.
Candidates will be responsible for their transportation to and from the SelectionBoard.
The use of personal/private vehicles by candidates is strictly prohibited throughout the duration of the Selection
Board.
Visitors will not be allowed throughout the duration of the SelectionBoard.
Candidates who arrive after 11 am on 11th March 2024 will be disqualified.
A high standard of discipline is expected from all candidates. Candidates who violate any instruction during the Selection Board will be disqualified.
NOTE: Due to the military nature of the Exercise, theNigerian Army shall not be liable fora ny injuries/deaths recorded in the course of the SelectionBoard.
