NCEE Result 2024/2025 is out. The National Common Entrance Examination results for admission into JSS1 of the Federal Unity Colleges has been released. Read how to check your score online via NECO result checker portal here.
According to the Minister of State for Education, the total of 71,291 candidates who registered for the exams, 66,931 sat for the examination, while 4,360 were absent. Out of the maximum obtainable score of 210, one candidate obtained the highest score of 203, while 13 candidates obtained the lowest score of one.
How to Check NCEE 2024 Results
The first step:
- Visit the Unity schools admission portal at https://result.neco.gov.ng/
- Input Exam Year “2024”
- Input Exam Type “National Common Entrance Examination”
- Input the registration number
- Click “Check Result”
Secondly:
- Visit http://fmeposting.com.ng/#posting
- Enter your exam number
- Input exam year (2024)
- Then the admission status will show
After you have checked the result, you will see any of the following comments:
- Qualified for Selection under National Merit
- Qualified for selection under state quota
- Not qualified for selection
What Next After Checking your NCEE Result?
- You are to Print out the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination Admission Slip and proceed to the ADMITTED SCHOOL OF CHOICE to commence the documentation process.
- Students who have been offered provisional admission have two weeks after the release of the results to accept the offer; otherwise, they would be replaced by other candidates.
- Candidates with ”Admission Pending” Status are advised to continue checking back as they will be posted in the subsequent admission batch to be released.
- Admission Letters will only be issued at the candidates’ school of choice upon fulfillment of all admission formalities.

NCEE Result cut off mark
According to the minister for education, the admission criteria set by FG for unity schools is as follows:
- National merit or the cut off mark would take 60% (146 for merit), equality of state 30%, and other factors 10%
- Candidates who apply for schools outside their state of origin would be given priority
