The school fees and charges paid by new students in FUCs is the sum of one hundred thousand naira (N100,000) only including boarding fees, uniform, text books, exercise books and other items. The tuition fee for all FUCs is FREE.

The below schedule fees is the approved breakdown for newly admitted students into unity schools.
- Boarding fees – N30,000 (per term)
- Textbooks deposit – N15,000
- Exercise books – N5,000 per session
- Uniforms – N25,000 (JSS 1 and SS 1)
- Prospectus – N1,000
- Medical – N2,000
- Caution fee – N1,000 per session
- ID card – N1,000
- Stationery – N1,000
- Vocational – N1,000
- Sports – N1,000
- Clubs and societies – N1,000
- Utility – N1,000
- Security – N1,000
- Website/e-result/ICT – N3,000
- School media -N3,000
- Extra lesson – N2,000
- Insurance – N5,000
