Is the Fire Service Shortlisted 2024 out?
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has NOT yet released the name of shortlisted candidates for those that applied for the Federal Fire Service (FFS) recruitment conducted between 1st December, 2023 to January 30th, 2024.
However, according to the statement by the management of CDCFIB on 29th August, 2024, the board will soon notified all the successful candidates for the next stage of recruitment exercise via their email addresses and the phone number they used during registration.
Kindly know that the Fire Service shortlist is for those who made it in the online application and this is not the final lists to be released by the CDCFIB.
Those whose name appears in the first lists will undergo physical and credentials screening which will be conducted in the applicants states of origin.Other stages of the recruitment process include computer based test (CBT) and Medical examination before the final selection lists will be released for training exercise. Now those successful at the training will receive their appointment paper as a full-time staff of Federal Fire Service (FFS).
How to Check Fire Service 2024 Shortlisted Candidates
Login to Fire Service portal: https:/cdcfib.career before you will be able to view the lists. During the online application, you created an account with a username and password. Now use the password and username to login and check your name.
There is a forget password option on the portal for those that cannot remember theirs. Use it and reset your account.

Visit https:/cdcfib.career to download the FFS shortlist for your state. For those whose name are “Not Shortlisted” are advised to keep checking for another batch of Fire Service supplementary list.
