Junior WAEC BECE Registration Form 2024/2025 starting and closing date for application into JSS3 has been announced. Apply via BECE portal now before deadline.

Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) is conducted for candidates in their third year (final year) of the Junior Secondary School. Private Secondary schools also take part in the BECE provided they are permitted by their State Ministries of Education.
The BECE registration for Junior WAEC 2024 has commenced, schools (centres) are to register their candidates using the offline application before login in.
The following are the approved fees for the examination and other related items:
- Registration fee for the 2024 BECE is N8,700.00 only per candidate
- Unviable Centre fee is N12,500.00
- Syllabus is N1,500.00 per copy
- Late Registration attracts a Penalty of additional N2,000.00 per candidate
- The registration fee for BECE Re-sit is N3,000.00 per subject per candidate
- Note that Stamp Duty, Service and Remita charges apply
BECE registration will be both OFFLINE and ONLINE. There is no more manual registration for. The manual registration entries have been replaced with offline entries of candidates’ registration data.
Eligibility:
Principals/Commandants of schools are hereby informed that only candidates in their final year of Junior Secondary School i.e. (JSS 3) are eligible for registration. For the avoidance of doubt, the 2024 BECE is meant for only school-based candidates in Nigeria and overseas. Principals/Commandants of schools and State Ministries of Education should endeavor to enforce the eligibility condition.
How to Apply/Register for BECE
The offline registration application could also be downloaded from the Council’s website www.neco.gov.ng.
All payments should strictly be made through the NECO portal. Upon successful payment, registration quota is allocated according to the amount paid into the NECO TSA.
Procedure For Upload of Candidates’ Data
The procedure for upload of Candidates’ data online is as follows:
- Connect your computer to the internet
- Launch the offline application
- Click on “Payment and Upload” button
- Click on “check Payment” button
- Enter your administrator login details to login
- Select and Upload Candidates accordingly
Now, after you have done with the registration, download BECE Timetable to know when is Junior WAEC 2024 examination will start.
