This scholarship program offers full funding for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in top universities across various countries.
What is the BEA Scholarship?
The BEA Scholarship is a fully-funded initiative by the Federal Government of Nigeria, designed to foster academic excellence and international collaboration. The program offers opportunities for qualified Nigerians to pursue higher education abroad.
Countries Offering the BEA Scholarship
Undergraduate Studies: Russia, Morocco, Hungary, Egypt, and Algeria.
Postgraduate Studies: Russia, China, Hungary, Serbia, and Romania.
Available Courses
The scholarship covers a wide range of disciplines, including:
Undergraduate Level: Engineering, Medicine (limited), Agriculture, Sciences, Law, Mathematics, Environmental Sciences, Sports, Biotechnology, Architecture, Pilot Engineering, Neurology, and more.
Postgraduate Level: All fields (Master’s and Ph.D.).
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the BEA Scholarship:
- For Undergraduate Applicants:
- Must have at least 7 distinctions (A’s and B’s) in WASSCE/WAEC (including English and Mathematics).
- Age range: 17–20 years.
- Certificates must be from 2023 or 2024 for non-African countries; for African countries, only 2024 certificates are accepted.
- For Postgraduate Applicants:
- Must have a First-Class or Second-Class Upper Degree.
- Completion of NYSC program is mandatory.
- Age limit: 35 years for Master’s, 40 years for Ph.D.
- NYSC discharge or exemption certificate is required.

- Read the guidelines and fill out the application form online.
- Print the completed application for reference.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Applicants for Russian scholarships must visit education-in-russia.com and submit scanned PDF documents online.
- Hungarian scholarship candidates should apply via stipendiumhungaricum.hu.
- A valid international passport is required for all candidates.
